At Stan and Joe's Saloon we opened our doors in January of '07. The dream of two long time local Annapolis bartenders became reality when they purchased an aging Pub. Swearing to clean the joint up and add some character, the two bar mutts have done just that by adding a new menu, a fresh coat of paint, a few TV's and a hand picked staff of local bar stars and servers dedicated to having fun.

Stan Fletcher (the senior of the two, so his name goes first!) has been slinging drinks in Annapolis for 35 years at such places as Armadillos, Fran O'Briens, The Ebb Tide and more. A golfaholic, Stan balances his Saloonkeeping with his other love, Music. His Band "A Classic Case" can be seen all around the area and frequently at Stan and Joe's Saloon. Look for his signature mustache and his shaggy hair (which annoys his balding partner Joe!!) and stories of great golf shots.

Joe McGovern (aka Little Joe) a 25 year bartender cut his teeth in Georgetown in Wasington DC before getting tired of being shot at and moving to Annapolis. Joe worked at The Paul Mall, Champions, Rumors and LU LU's in DC. Moving to Annapolis in the early 90's he bartended at The Eastport Clipper, McGarvey's and The Rockfish. He loves music also, but keeps it confined to the shower or Karaoke. His beautiful wife Tracy (Banquet Manager/Account Manager/and Sunday Football Bartender Goddess!) bartended in DC at LuLus also and locally she was at The Boatyard for years. Look for Tracy telling Joe to stop telling Rugby stories of his college days....As Joe says, "The older I get , the better I was!!!"

As we tell our staff repeatedly, Good Service is NOT rocket science. We pride ourselves on Great Food, Great Service and a lively atmosphere that makes all welcome. Our kitchen features an Open Flame Grill for our savory steaks & burgers. Fresh Seafood delivered daily keeps people coming back. Live Local Music Nightly has the place jumpin after 10pm.
